Sunday Adult Education Classes start at 9:45 AM
Faith Formation
This class, led by Doc Jones, will be studying Galatians with the book "Set Free by God's Grace" for three more weeks. A new study using an Adam Hamilton Book on World Religions will be next up for this class.
Family Connections
This class is currently working on the video-driven series "Confronting the Controversies."
If you are not now attending a class or are interested in joining a new class, you are invited to join us for this study.
Friendship
The Friendship Class will begin a study on May 16 entitled, "Community in the Bible." In this study, we will look at the biblical concept of community. "We will trace the origins of the family in the Bible to see how the family relates to the wider community through the clan, the tribe, and the nation. We will also see how images of community and family shaped the biblical understanding of God and how the people of God relate with God." Bible books include Jonah, Ruth, the Gospels and the Epistles.
Lost and Found
On May 2 we will begin a study of Philip Yancey's book, "What's So Amazing About Grace?"
Pairs and Spares
We will be studying Efird's Bible study series "Paul's Letter to the Romans" which will be a 15-week series. This new study begins in one week.
Sojourners
The Sojourners have just finished Ezra and will begin Nehemiah this week.
