At MUMC, we strive to create a safe environment that engages children through song, bible stories, and crafts so they feel encouraged to ask questions and learn to have passion for loving and serving Jesus. Children are precious and they play an important role in the church. Their abundance of energy and joy encourages the congregation to be filled with excitement to explore our faith and find ways to become involved in the community and share the love of God.
With open arms, we welcome all children to attend the programs offered at MUMC.
Sundays
Sunday School for all ages begins at 8:45 in the Treehouse.
Nursery is available for children 3 and under during the 10:00am service. Drop-off begins at 9:45am.
Children's Church is available for ages 4 years old - 5th grade during the 10:00am service.
Check-in and drop off your child in the children's area.

Explore the miracles of Jesus as we embark on The Jesus Expedition! We will travel to exotic locations and search for hidden treasure as we learn that Jesus is with us wherever we go.
- The Jesus Expedition is open to potty trained 3 year olds - entering 6th grade. Cost is $20 per explorer. Scholarships are available-contact Tommi at btddh89@gmail.com.

August - Performing Arts Camp
Love to sing? Dance? Act? Always looking to be on stage? This camp is the place for you! We will spend a fun-filled, action-packed week auditioning, staging and performing a musical. In addition to learning music, lines and stage blocking, there will be opportunities to learn about set construction and costuming. There will be opportunities for solo and ensemble work as well.
We ask that all campers come audition for roles on Sunday afternoon so we can hit the ground running on Monday morning. No need to prepare anything for the audition, though you are welcome to do so. We will have you read for us and sing something simple. All campers will be assigned a role in the production.

- Open to incoming 2nd-8th grade fall of 2026
- Monday, August 3- Saturday, August 8 | 9AM-Noon
- Dress Rehearsal will begin at 9AM Saturday, August 8 with the performance that evening at 6PM
- Cost: $75.00 per camper
